Additionally, NS1 counteracts the antiviral effects of host EXOC1 by sequestering and degrading EXOC1 through the proteasome degradation pathway. Furthermore, NS1 disrupts RNA silencing by interfering with host Dicer, highlighting its multifaceted role in manipulating both viral and host cellular processes throughout the infection cycle.
