Notch 3 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc)

Notch 3 protein is a receptor for the ligands JAG1, JAG2 and DLL1 and plays a crucial regulatory role in cell fate determination. Upon ligand activation, NICD forms a transcriptional activator complex with RBPJ/RBPSUH and activates genes within the enhancer of the cleavage site. Notch 3 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived Notch3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Upon ligand activation, the released notch intracellular domain (NICD) forms a transcriptional activator complex with RBPJ/RBPSUH, initiating the activation of genes within the enhancer of split locus. This multifaceted protein influences cellular differentiation, proliferation, and apoptotic programs. Structurally, it exists as a heterodimer composed of a C-terminal fragment (N(TM)) and a N-terminal fragment (N(EC)), likely linked by disulfide bonds. Notch 3 interacts with transcriptional coactivators MAML1, MAML2, and MAML3, modulating downstream transcriptional processes. It also engages with PSMA1 and HIF1AN, contributing to diverse cellular functions and regulatory pathways.
