Biological Activity
PTK9L Protein, Human is the recombinant human-derived PTK9L, expressed by E. coli , with tag Free labeled tag. ,
PTK9L is an actin-binding protein involved in motile and morphological processes. It inhibits actin polymerization, likely by sequestering G-actin, and regulates motility by capping the barbed ends of filaments. This protein appears to play a significant role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and the distribution of endocytic organelles. Additionally, it may be involved in regulating the mature length of the middle and short rows of stereocilia (by similar).
