Description

TRPC6 Protein, Human (HEK293, Flag, His, Strep) is the recombinant human-derived TRPC6, expressed by HEK293 , with Strep, His, Flag labeled tag. ,

Background

TRPC6 forms a receptor-activated non-selective calcium-permeant cation channel (by similar: PubMed:19936226, PubMed:23291369, PubMed:26892346, PubMed:9930701). It is likely operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. The channel can be activated by diacylglycerol (DAG) in a membrane-delimited manner, independent of protein kinase C (by similar: PubMed:26892346). Current evidence suggests that TRPC6 does not appear to be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.
