Cm-CATH2 is an antimicrobial peptide discovered from Chelonia mydas. Cm-CATH2 has a potent, broad-spectrum and rapid bactericidal ability by rapidly destroying the integrity of bacterial cell membranes. It shows strong activity against Gram-positive bacteria (such as VREF, Staphylococcus aureus), Gram-negative bacteria (such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae), and fungi (such as Candida albicans) with MICs ranges from 1.17 to 18.75 μg/mL. Cm-CATH2 is also effective against various aquatic pathogenic bacteria. Cm-CATH2 not only inhibits biofilm formation but can also remove the formed biofilms. Cm-CATH2 has immunomodulatory functions and chemotactic effects on immune cells, and can inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines by macrophages stimulated by LPS (HY-D1056). Cm-CATH2 prevents the activation of NF-κB by inhibiting the degradation of IκBα, and also inhibits the phosphorylation of MAPK signaling pathways (p38, JNK, ERK). Cm-CATH2 demonstrates strong anti-infective ability in mouse peritonitis models and pneumonia models .

Neral is a plant-derived anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anticancer agent. Neral inhibits the phosphorylation of ERK1/2, p38 MAPK and IκB in macrophages induced by LPS (HY-D1056), suppresses the secretion of TNF-α and IL-6, as well as the expression of pro-IL-1β, iNOS and COX-2 in cells, and reduces the production of ROS in cells. Neral inhibits the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome, and decreases the activation of caspase-1 and the secretion of IL-1β in mouse macrophages. Neral induces autophagy, and exhibits antiproliferative activity both in in vitro breast cancer cell models and mouse xenograft models. Neral regulates brassinosteroid, jasmonic acid and ethylene signaling pathways, and induces the expression of AP2/ERF-ERF and bHLH family genes in rice roots. Neral acts as a herbicide safener, alleviates the damage induced by Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl (HY-B2013), and promotes the elongation of rice roots. NF340 is a P2Y11 receptor inhibitor with a pIC50 of 7.3-7.7 against human P2Y11 receptor, and it exhibits high selectivity over other P2Y family receptors. NF340 binds to the ATP-binding amino acid residues of the P2Y11 receptor to inhibit its activity, block nociceptive activity, and reduce spinal dorsal horn P2Y11 receptor upregulation induced by spinal nerve injury. NF340 attenuates the NFκB signaling pathway activated by IL-1β by decreasing IκBα phosphorylation, nuclear p65 accumulation, and NFκB promoter activity. NF340 inhibits IL-1β-induced pro-inflammatory cytokine expression, reduces intracellular ROS and 4-HNE levels, and suppresses IL-1β-induced matrix metalloproteinase expression in primary fibroblast-like synoviocytes. NF340 inhibits ATP-induced elevation of intracellular Ca 2+ concentration and cell migration in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells. NF340 can be used in the research of neuropathic pain, myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury, inflammatory pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and hepatocellular carcinoma .

Synonyms: P-Methoxy-benzyl alcoho (Standard); (4-Methoxyphenyl)methanol (Standard)
4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol (Standard) (P-Methoxy-benzyl alcoho (Standard); (4-Methoxyphenyl)methanol (Standard)) is the analytical standard of 4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol (HY-W015777). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. 4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol (P-Methoxy-benzyl alcoho; (4-Methoxyphenyl) methanol) is a naturally derived volatile aromatic compound. 4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol upregulates the phosphorylation level of PI3K/Akt pathway proteins, downregulates the expression of pro-inflammatory factors, increases the content of tight junction proteins occludin and claudin-5, and alleviates structural damage to the blood-brain barrier. 4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol improves the decrease in viability and NO level of cerebral microvascular endothelial cells induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion, and reduces the release of lactate dehydrogenase. 4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol serves as a substrate in the two-phase persulfate-mediated electro-oxidation system, where it is directionally oxidized to p-anisaldehyde. 4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol acts as a substrate for wild-type fungal aryl alcohol oxidase. 4-Methoxybenzyl alcohol can be used in studies related to ischemic stroke, as well as in research across various fields such as chemical synthesis, including the synthesis of fragrances and flavorings .

Synonyms: LPS, from Escherichia coli (O26:B6)
Lipopolysaccharides, from E. coli (Escherichia coli) O26:B6 are lipopolysaccharide endotoxins and TLR-4 activators derived from E. coli, classified as S-type LPS, which can activate pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMP) of the immune system and induce cellular secretion of migrasomes. Lipopolysaccharides, from E. coli O26:B6 exhibit a typical three-part structure: O-antigen, core oligosaccharide, and lipid A, and can be recognized by the core-specific monoclonal antibody MAb J8-4C10. Lipopolysaccharides, from E. coli O26:B6 can promote an increase in pro-inflammatory cytokines in plasma, thereby triggering hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) activation and leading to adrenal oxidative damage. The pathogenic effects of Lipopolysaccharides, from E. coli O26:B6 can be used to construct various models, such as cellular inflammation models, sepsis, acute lung injury models, adrenal dysfunction models, and bladder infection models, etc .
It is recommended to prepare a solution with concentration ≥2 mg/mL. Vortex thoroughly for more than 10 minutes. Due to the adsorption characteristics of LPS, silanized container or low adsorption centrifuge tubes should be used for aliquoting and storage, and mix thoroughly before use.
