[Rh(cod)Cl]2 (Chloro (1,5-cyclooctadiene) rhodium (I) dimer) is an organometallic rhodium (I) dimer precursor and platelet aggregation inhibitor. [Rh(cod)Cl]2 inhibits PAF-induced aggregation in washed rabbit platelets. [Rh(cod)Cl]2 inhibits aggregation induced by PAF, Thrombin, ADP and Collagen in human platelet-rich plasma. [Rh(cod)Cl]2 acts as a catalyst precursor for the hydrogenation of aromatic hydrocarbons, phenols, olefins and BINOL derivatives. [Rh(cod)Cl]2 is used in the research of cardiovascular diseases such as thromboinflammation-related disorders, tumor metastasis and atherosclerosis .

CL-184005 is an antagonist for platelet-activating factor (PAF), that inhibits the PAF-induced platelet aggregation with IC50 of 600 nM and 510 nM, in human and rabbit platelet-rich plasma. CL-184005 protects the rats from endotoxin-induced gastrointestinal damage and hypotension. CL-184005 exhibits potential attenuating Gram-negative bacterial sepsis .

IPR agonist-1 is a prostaglandin-based IP receptor agonist. IPR agonist-1 binds to the IP receptor, forms hydrogen bonds with Tyr75-Ser168-Arg279, and undergoes π-π stacking with Tyr281, thereby triggering downstream signaling pathways. IPR agonist-1 inhibits ADP (Adenosine 5'-diphosphate) (HY-W010918)-induced platelet aggregation in rabbit platelet-rich plasma. IPR agonist-1 can be used in the research of pulmonary arterial hypertension .

Litebamine is a phenanthrene alkaloid with antiplatelet activity. Litebamine potently targets arachidonic acid- and collagen-induced platelet aggregation, but shows no activity against thrombin-induced aggregation. Litebamine inhibits arachidonic acid- and collagen-induced ATP release and thromboxane B2 production in rabbit platelets, without altering cyclic AMP levels or phosphoinositide breakdown in rabbit platelets. Litebamine has no effect on platelet-activating factor- or U46619 (HY-108566)-induced aggregation, nor does it affect [ 3H] inositol monophosphate production in rabbit platelets induced by collagen, platelet-activating factor or thrombin .

Pelrinone is an orally active cardiotonic agent and PDE III inhibitor with an IC50 of 36 μM. Pelrinone elevates intracellular cAMP levels. The action of Pelrinone is independent of β-adrenergic receptors, and it does not inhibit Na +/K +-ATPase. Pelrinone exerts positive inotropic and vasodilatory effects. Pelrinone inhibits platelet aggregation, reduces thrombus formation, and exerts weak anticoagulant activity without altering hematocrit or circulating platelet counts. Pelrinone can be used in research related to congestive heart failure and coronary thrombosis .
