SNAP-Biotin
SNAP-Biotin is a cell-permeable SNAP-tag-targeted labeling reagent. SNAP-Biotin undergoes an irreversible covalent reaction with SNAP-tag to transfer biotin to the tag. SNAP-Biotin enables the detection of SNAP-tag fusion proteins via a streptavidin-HRP immunoblotting system and achieves biotinylation of SNAP-tag fusion proteins. SNAP-Biotin is applicable to triple-negative breast cancer-related research.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
SNAP-Biotin enables the detection of SNAP-tagged proteins in SDS-PAGE/immunoblotting assays via streptavidin-HRP and enhanced chemiluminescence[1].
SNAP-Biotin (150 nM-1.5 mM) binds to the inactive SNAP-tag mutant SNAPC145A with measurable affinity[2].
SNAP-Biotin (1.5 μM; 30 min incubation, 11 h chase) labels parental H3.3-SNAP proteins in mouse embryonic stem cells[3].
SNAP-Biotin (1.5 μM; 30 min incubation, 14 h chase) labels parental H3.3-SNAP in mouse embryonic stem cells, where Mcm2-Pola1 and Pole3-Pole4 promote the transfer of parental H3.3-SNAP to the lagging strand and leading strand of DNA replication, respectively[3].
SNAP-Biotin (30 μM; 1 h) specifically labels the HCC1 fusion protein with a functional C-terminal SNAP tag in crude mitochondrial extracts from transgenic Arabidopsis hcc1-1 mutants[4].
