SYBR Green II binds to RNA or single-stranded DNA, and emits fluorescence. SYBR Green II can be used for RNA/DNA staining before or after electrophoresis^[2].
This product is supplied as a concentrate dissolved in DMSO. It is recommended to dilute it 10,000-fold before use.
