In Vitro

TAMRA DBCO, 5-isomer is a derivative of tetramethylrhodamine (TMR, TAMRA) that contains a cyclooctyne moiety (dibenzocyclooctyne, DBCO). DBCO reacts rapidly and efficiently with azides simply by mixing the components, without the need for a copper catalyst (i.e., strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC))[1].
