Trastuzumab duocarmazine  (Synonyms: (vic)-Trastuzumab duocarmazine)

Trastuzumab duocarmazine ((vic)-Trastuzumab duocarmazine) is a HER2-targeting ADC that is recognized and cleaved by histone B in tumor cells and selectively targets tumor cells. Trastuzumab duocarmazine has anti-tumor activity and can be used in cancer research related to uterine and ovarian sarcomas^[1].

Trastuzumab duocarmazine (SYD985) (0.0001-100 μg/mL, 24 h) is lethal to both HER^2- and HER²⁺ cells, and is 7-fold more lethal to HER2/NEU³⁺ cell lines with the IC₅₀ value of 0.013 μg/mL compared to T-DM1 with the IC₅₀ value of 0.096 μg/mL. More importantly, in HER2/NEU¹⁺ cells, it is 54 times more potent in killing cells compared to T-DM1^[1].
