11,12-Dimethyl chebulate (compound 9) (100 μM) inhibits growth of Septoria tritici with 51% inhibition and Phytophthora infestans with 81% inhibition, and shows no significant effect on Botrytis cinerea growth^[1].
11,12-Dimethyl chebulate exhibits DPPH scavenging activity with an EC₅₀ of 9.94 μg/mL^[2].
