Biological Activity
2,6-Difluoropyridine (4000 scans at 1 cm-1 resolution) identifies the S1(π,π*) electronic transition at 37820.2 cm-1 via ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy of vapor-phase 26DFPy, with vibrational bands assigned with high certainty using supporting ab initio calculations[1].
2,6-Difluoropyridine can be used to prepare polypyridine ethers by polycondensation with silylated 1,1,1-tris(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethane.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
