Description

RXFP3/4 agonist 1 is an agonist of relaxin family peptide 3/4 receptor (RXFP3/4), with EC50s of 82/2 nM, respectivley. RXFP3/4 agonist 1 increases food intake in rats[1].

IC50 & Target

EC50: 82 nM (RXFP3), 2 nM (RXFP4)[1]

In Vitro

RXFP3/4 agonist 1 (Compound 4) inhibits orskolin-stimulated cAMP accumulation in CHO-K1 cells stably overexpressing RXFP3 and RXFP4, with EC50s of 12.8 and 1.6 nM, respectively[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
