Lactate Dehydrogenase
LDH
Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of pyruvate, the end product of glycolysis, into lactate (and vice versa) with concomitant interconversion of NADH and NAD+. LDH is comprised of two major subunits, LDH-A and LDH-B, which can assemble into five different isoenzymes (LDH1, LDH2, LDH3, LDH4, and LDH5).
LDH-A is also known as the M subunit as it is predominantly found in skeletal muscle, and LDH-B is also known as the H subunit as it is predominantly found in the heart. LDH-A is a vital metabolic enzyme that is associated with cancer development, invasion, and metastasis. LDH-A is also the key player of the Warburg effect. LDH-A has been reported to correlate with clinicopathologic characteristics and survival outcome of multiple cancers. The inhibition of LDH-A has an anti-proliferative effect on primary breast tumors. LDH-B is a crucial glycolytic enzyme that catalyses conversion of lactate and NAD+ to pyruvate, NADH and H+. LDHB plays an important role in autophagy in cancer cells.

GNE-140 racemate (Standard)
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-100742RCAS No.: 1802977-61-2GNE-140 racemate (Standard) is the analytical standard of GNE-140 racemate (HY-100742). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. GNE-140 racemate is a racemic mixture of (R)-GNE-140 (HY-100742A) and (S)-GNE-140 (HY-100742B), and also a tautomer of GNE-140 (HY-118241). GNE-140 racemate is an orally active lactate dehydrogenase inhibitor, with an IC50 of 3 nM against human LDHA and an IC50 of 5 nM against LDHB. GNE-140 racemate reduces the phosphorylation level and total protein expression of p38 MAPK, and inhibits EGF-induced AKT phosphorylation. GNE-140 racemate decreases lactate production, regulates glycolysis, the pentose phosphate pathway and nucleotide biosynthesis, increases extracellular pH, inhibits cell proliferation, migration and invasion, and induces caspase-3 activation and ROS accumulation. GNE-140 racemate can be used in research related to breast cancer, cystic fibrosis and pancreatic cancer. -

Antiparasitic agent-32
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-180110Antiparasitic agent-32 (compound M9), a Piperaquine (HY-B1896) analog, is a potent P. falciparum lactate dehydrogenase (Pf LDH)-targeting antiparasitic agent (Pf3D7 IC50 = 0.40 μM). Antiparasitic agent-32 exhibits significant activity against both Pf asexual and gametocyte stages. Antiparasitic agent-32 exerts antiplasmodial activity through stable and specific noncovalent interactions at the NADH-binding site. Antiparasitic agent-32 can be used for malaria research. -

N6-(2-Aminoethyl)-NAD+ sodium
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-131829ASynonyms: 6-AE-NAD+ sodiumN6-(2-Aminoethyl)-NAD+ (6-AE-NAD+) sodium is an adenine-modified NAD analog with coenzyme activity and the property of targeting lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). N6-(2-Aminoethyl)-NAD+ sodium undergoes transient affinity binding with LDH, thereby crosslinking the enzyme monolayer into an integrated electrode. N6-(2-Aminoethyl)-NAD+ is a component of the PQQ (HY-100196)-NAD+ binary interface, and supports the bioelectrocatalytic oxidation of lactate through PQQ-mediated immobilized NADH oxidation. -
