Ammonium trifluoroacetate promotes the microwave-accelerated conjugate addition reaction between 2-arylindoles and β-nitrostyrenes[1].
Ammonium trifluoroacetate acts as a solid support for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2 (1H)-one[2].
