Biological Activity
Antibacterial agent 324 (Compound 20a) (24 h) exhibits potent in vitro anti-Gram-positive bacterial activity, with an MIC range of 1 to 32 μg/mL. Specifically, its MIC values against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923 and ATCC43300 are 1 μg/mL and 2 μg/mL, respectively, and the MIC against Bacillus subtilis ATCC9372 is 2 μg/mL[1].
