Verification Images

  • Experimental Validation Results for HRP-conjugated Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L
Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from Human IgG-10ng (lane 1, 10 ng), Human IgG-5ng (lane 2, 5 ng), Human IgG-2ng (lane 3, 2 ng), Human IgG-1ng (lane 4, 1 ng), Human IgG-0.5ng (lane 5, 0.5 ng), and Human IgG-0.1ng (lane 6, 0.1 ng) using Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L (HRP). Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non - fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. The primary antibody (1:5000 dilution) was incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.

Background

  • Function

Secondary antibodies are antibodies that bind to primary antibodies in immunoassays. They do not directly recognize the target antigen but rather the Fc region of the primary antibody or the entire immunoglobulin (Ig). Secondary antibodies are typically conjugated to fluorescent groups (such as Alexa Fluor), enzymes (such as HRP and alkaline phosphatase), or proteins (such as biotin).
