Biological Activity: SIB-1281 is a β-secretase inhibitor that inhibits β-site cleavage of amyloid precursor protein (APP) and reduces the production of Aβ peptides. SIB-1281 decreases the generation of Aβ40 and Aβ42, and promotes the secretion of α-sAPP. SIB-1281 can be used in studies related to Alzheimer's disease[1].
