Biological Activity: Fmoc-PNA-C (Bhoc)-OH is a cytosine peptide nucleic acid (PNA) monomer protected by Fmoc/Bhoc. Fmoc-PNA-C (Bhoc)-OH can be used for solid-phase synthesis of long-chain PNAs, including the 20-mer PNA targeting Nnmt mRNA and the PNA targeting the tyrosinease gene to inhibit melanogenesis. Fmoc-PNA-C (Bhoc)-OH can be applied in studies related to type 2 diabetes and Escherichia coli infections[1][2][3].
