Biological Activity: JD-13 is a HPV-1 inhibitor and anti-proliferative agent against cancer cells. JD-13 downregulates the expression of HSV-1 DNA polymerase-related genes UL30 and UL42, and inhibits viral replication. JD-13 induces apoptosis (apoptosis) in colorectal cancer cells and suppresses their colony formation. JD-13 can be applied to the research of herpes simplex virus infection and related diseases including colorectal cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer and breast cancer[1][2].
