Biological Activity: SOD1-Derlin-1-IN-3 is a mutant SOD1 (SOD1mut) inhibitor. SOD1-Derlin-1-IN-3 blocks the interaction between SOD1mut and Derlin-1 by preferentially binding to the Derlin-1 binding region (DBR) of SOD1mut, without affecting SOD enzyme activity. SOD1-Derlin-1-IN-3 can be used for research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)[1].
