Biological Activity: N-nitroso-tris-chloroethylurea (NTCU) can be used for chemically inducing a lung squamous cell carcinoma model. Lung squamous cell carcinoma can be induced in five mouse strains (SWR/J, NIH Swiss, A/J, BALB/cJ, and FVB/J) by applying N-nitroso-tris-chloroethylurea to the skin, but not in the other three strains (AKR/J, 129/svJ, and C57BL/6J) .
