Swertiachoside B (compound 4) is a tetrahydroxanthone glycoside (3-nortetrahydroswertiamarin) that occurs throughout the whole plant of Swertia chirayita^[1].

In Vitro

Swertiachoside B (>2.49 mM; >0.62 mM for HBV DNA replication) shows no anti-HBV activity (inhibition of HBsAg secretion, HBeAg secretion, or HBV DNA replication) in HepG 2.2.15 cells, with a CC₅₀ of >2.49 mM^[1].
