BODIPY FL thalidomide is a high-affinity and selective human cereblon (CRBN)-targeting fluorescent probe with a Kd of 3.6 nM. BODIPY FL thalidomide enables use as a probe in time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TR-FRET) binding assays for cereblon ligands. BODIPY FL thalidomide supports development of highly sensitive, selective, stable cereblon TR-FRET binding assays (Ex/Em = 502/510 nm).

BODIPY FL thalidomide (0.122-500 nM; 30-300 min) binds to 6×His-tagged human cereblon protein with high affinity, exhibiting a stable Kd of 3.6 nM after 90-240 min of incubation[1].
BODIPY FL thalidomide (4 nM; 30-300 min) mediates a TR-FRET assay that detects time-dependent changes in cereblon binding activity caused by the spontaneous isomerization of (S)- and (R)-Thalidomide enantiomers when incubated with 6×His-tagged human cereblon protein[1].
BODIPY FL thalidomide (4 nM; 90 min) mediates a TR-FRET assay that selectively detects binding of cereblon ligands to 6×His-tagged human cereblon protein, with no response to non-cereblon ligands[1].
