Chitosan hydrochloride 80%-90% deacetylated is a polysaccharide obtained by deacetylating chitin, and exhibits antimicrobial activity against various bacteria and fungi. Chitosan hydrochloride 80%-90% deacetylated is utilized in agriculture, water treatment and pharmaceutical aspects.
