Rice Sheath Blight

SDH-IN-51 is a succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 0.16 μM against Rhizoctonia solani. SDH-IN-51 inhibits succinate dehydrogenase in the fungal mitochondrial respiratory chain, disrupting energy production. SDH-IN-51 disrupts fungal cell wall or membrane integrity, leading to mycelial morphological abnormalities. SDH-IN-51 exhibits protective and curative antifungal efficacy against Rhizoctonia solani on rice leaves in detached leaf assays. SDH-IN-51 can be used for research on rice sheath blight.

Antifungal agent 182 is a mitochondrial complex III (Qo site) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 7.05 mg/L. Antifungal agent 182 binds to the Qo pocket, blocking electron transfer and impairing ATP synthesis. Antifungal agent 182 exhibits inhibitory activity against R. solani and P. capsici. Antifungal agent 182 can be used for research on rice sheath blight and Phytophthora capsici infection in pepper.

Solavetivone is a Sesquiterpenoid phytoalexin and Antifungal agent. Solavetivone is isolated from stress-challenged potato plants. Solavetivone is hydroxylated by sesquiterpenoid phytoalexin hydroxylase (SPH/CYP76A2L). Solavetivone helps solanaceous plants defend against pathogens, damages plant cells after pathogen threat, and inhibits mycelial growth of Rhizoctonia solani. Solavetivone is applicable to studies related to Rhizoctonia solani infection.
