FTR1335 is an Antifungal agent as well as a selective, substrate peptide-competitive, and myristoyl-CoA non-competitive inhibitor of N-myristoyltransferase CaNmt, with an IC50 of 0.49 nM against Candida albicans CaNmt. FTR1335 exhibits fungicidal activity against Candida albicans and inhibits the growth of Candida tropicalis. FTR1335 can be used in research related to Candida albicans infections[1][2][3].

In Vitro

FTR1335 (24 h) potently inhibits growth of Candida albicans and Candida tropicalis, but has a narrow antifungal spectrum with no activity against other tested fungal species[1].
FTR1335 is a highly potent, selective inhibitor of fungal N-myristoyltransferase[1].
FTR1335 (0-1.5 nM; 10 min) potently and selectively inhibits purified Candida albicans N-myristoyltransferase (CaNmt) with an IC50 of 0.49 nM, acting as a competitive inhibitor for the peptide substrate and non-competitive inhibitor for myristoyl-CoA, while showing minimal activity against human N-myristoyltransferase 1 (HsNmt1) (IC50 = 5400 nM)[2].
FTR1335 (variable concentrations; 48-72 h) exhibits fungicidal activity against Candida albicans ATCC 90028 (MFC = 0.78 μM) and inhibits growth of most C. albicans isolates (including fluconazole-resistant strains) and Candida tropicalis in vitro, but shows no activity against other tested non-albicans Candida, Aspergillus, Trichophyton, or Cryptococcus species[2].
FTR1335 potently inhibits Candida albicans N-myristoyltransferase with an IC50 of 0.49 nM and inhibits Candida albicans growth with an MIC of 0.78 μM[3].
