Insulin B (20-30) is the C-terminal undecapeptide fragment of the Insulin B chain. Insulin stimulates tissue glucose uptake, inhibits fatty acid release from adipose tissue, suppresses hepatic ketogenesis, and promotes the deposition of fat and glycogen.
