IR-19-Py-containing LNP (24 h) efficiently delivers mRNA to the lung epithelial cell line A549, with an efficiency comparable to that of the control lipid C12-200 (HY-145405)^[1].

In Vivo

IR-19-Py LNP (1 mg firefly luciferase mRNA; administered via nebulization; once every 72 h (repeated administration); single administration) delivers nebulized mRNA to the lungs and nasal cavities of mice, enabling long-term expression in the nasal cavity^[1].

C57BL/6J (female, 6-8 weeks old)^[1]
Dosage:

1 mg firefly luciferase mRNA (single dose; 3 total doses)
Administration:

Lasted at least 48 hours post-nebulization in lung protein expression.
Exhibited prolonged nasal luciferase expression.
Showed no loss in lung luminescence over three repeat doses administered every 72 hours.
