Serpin B10
Serpin B10, formerly proteinase inhibitor 10 (PI10), belongs to the intracellular clade B serpin family encoded within the SERPINB gene cluster on chromosome 18. Expression is highest in liver, with detectable levels in skin and several epithelial tissues. Its physiological target protease has not been firmly established, and unlike secreted serpins it acts inside the cell, presumably buffering proteolytic activity released during inflammation or programmed cell death. Transcriptomic studies have implicated SERPINB10 in cutaneous squamous lesions and in hepatic responses to injury. Recombinant Serpin B10 therefore serves biochemical and expression-profiling studies aimed at defining this poorly characterized family member.

The EpCAM/TROP1 protein serves as an important homogeneous interacting molecule that promotes direct contact between intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) in the mucosal epithelium. This feature helps establish an immune barrier against mucosal infections. EpCAM/TROP1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EpCAM/TROP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
