Biological Activity
This product can be used for: 1) inhibit serine protease activity in recombinant protein production; 2) cell culture, etc.
Dissolution method
Can be dissolved directly with 0.9% NaCl, and can be stored at -20°C after dissolution.
Note: Aprotinin and protease are equimolarly effective in binding. The recommended binding pH is >6.0. They will not bind at pH <3.0.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
≥3 EPU/mg protein
One EPU is defined as the amount of enzyme that will inhibit one trypsin unit, which one trypsin unit can hydrolyze 1.0 μmole of BAEE in per min.
