Biological Activity
Description
CCNY Protein, Human (sf9, GST) is the recombinant human-derived CCNY, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with GST labeled tag.
Background
CDK17-CCNY is a positive regulatory subunit of the cyclin-dependent kinases CDK14/PFTK1 and CDK16. It acts as a cell-cycle regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway during the G2/M phase by recruiting CDK14/PFTK1 to the plasma membrane and promoting phosphorylation of LRP6, leading to Wnt pathway activation. It also recruits CDK16 to the plasma membrane. Isoform 3 may play a role in activating MYC-mediated transcription.
