D-amino-acid oxidase/DAO Protein, Human (His)

D-amino-acid oxidase Protein, Human (His) is a recombinant D-amino-acid oxidase protein with a His tag. D-amino acid oxidase (DAO) is a flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD)-dependent oxidase metabolizing neutral and polar D-amino acids^[1].

D-amino acid oxidase (DAO) is a flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD)–dependent peroxisomal enzyme that catalyzes the oxidation of neutral and polar D-amino acids with a strict stereospecificity to give α-keto acids, ammonia, and reactive oxygen species (ROS)^[1].
