Background
Integrin alpha-V/beta-3 (ITGAV:ITGB3) acts as a receptor for CD40LG and binds to the Lilrb4a/Gp49b receptor, enhancing its inhibitory effect on mast cell activation. ITGAV:ITGB3 also suppresses marginal zone B cell antibody production through interaction with Lilrb4a. It forms a heterodimer with ITGAV and interacts with various ligands, including RAB25, CIB1, FBLN5, CCN3, ADGRA2, FGF2, CX3CR1, CX3CL1, NRG1, ERBB3, FGF1, FGFR1, IGF1, IGF1R, IGF2, and PTN. It also forms a complex with PTPRZ1 and PTN to stimulate endothelial cell migration.
