Nectin-4 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc)

Nectin-4 Protein participates in cell adhesion, engaging in trans-homophilic interactions with other Nectin-4 molecules and trans-heterophilic interactions, notably with NECTIN1. It can self-associate, with its Ig-like V-type domain interacting with NECTIN1's Ig-like V-type domain and its C-terminus interacting with AFDN. Nectin-4 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant mouse-derived Nectin-4 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-hFc labeled tag.

The Nectin-4 protein is thought to play a role in cell adhesion through interactions with other proteins. It can engage in both trans-homophilic interactions, where it interacts with other Nectin-4 molecules, and trans-heterophilic interactions, particularly with NECTIN1. It is also capable of self-associating. The protein's Ig-like V-type domain interacts with the Ig-like V-type domain of NECTIN1, while its C-terminus interacts with AFDN.

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH₂O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

Stored at -20°C for 2 years from date of receipt. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
