PD-L1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc)

PD-L1 protein serves as a ligand for the inhibitory receptor PDCD1/PD-1 and is critical for maintaining immune tolerance. This interaction modulates T cell activation, limits effector responses and may stimulate IL10-producing T cell subsets. PD-L1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant mouse-derived PD-L1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

PD-L1 protein plays a crucial role in maintaining immune tolerance to self by acting as a ligand for the inhibitory receptor PDCD1/PD-1. This interaction modulates the activation threshold of T-cells, limiting their effector response and potentially stimulating T-cell subsets that produce interleukin-10 (IL10). However, tumors exploit the PDCD1-mediated inhibitory pathway to attenuate anti-tumor immunity and evade destruction by the immune system, thereby promoting tumor survival. The interaction between PD-L1 and PDCD1/PD-1 inhibits the function of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), but blocking this pathway can reverse the exhausted T-cell phenotype and normalize the anti-tumor response, offering a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy.

1.Measured by its ability to inhibit anti-CD3-induced proliferation of stimulated CTLL-2 mouse cytotoxic T cells. The ED₅₀ this effect is 0.7284 μg/mL, corresponding to a specific activity is 1372.87 units/mg.
2.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.Immobilized PD1-His at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind PD-L1 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc), the EC₅₀ is 200-750 ng/mL, the EC₅₀ is ≤530 ng/mL.
