S100A11 protein, also known as S100C or calgizzarin, plays a crucial role in the differentiation and cornification processes of keratinocytes, which are the main cells found in the outer layer of the skin. It functions as a homodimer, meaning it forms a complex consisting of two identical subunits. The dimerization occurs through disulfide linkages, where two sulfur atoms form a bond, contributing to the stability and structure of the protein. Verified Bioactivity

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human ANXA2 (HY-P7515) at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) on the plate can bind Mouse S100A11. The ED50 for this effect is 1.633 μg/mL.
