Ac5GalNTGc reduces leukocyte sialyl-Lewis-X expression and inhibits L-/P-selectin mediated rolling under flow, as well as P-selectin dependent leukocyte-platelet adhesion. Ac5GalNTGc exhibits anti-inflammatory activity in a thioglycollate-induced acute peritonitis model.
