Lipoxin A5 is an eicosapentaenoic acid derived from pig white blood cells. Lipoxin A5 slowly contracted the guinea pig lung parenchymal strips with a contractile force similar to that of LXA4 and LXB4.2, but LXA5 did not have the vasodilating effect on the aortic smooth muscle shown by LXA4 and LXB4.2 .

Lipoxin B4 (LXB4) methyl ester is a lipid soluble prodrug form of the transcellular metabolite LXB4. LXB4 is a positional isomer of LXA4 produced by the metabolism of 15-HETE or 15-HpETE by human leukocytes. At a concentration of 100 nM, LXB4 inhibits polymorphonuclear leukocyte (PMN) migration stimulated by leukotriene B4 (LTB4; Item No. 20110) and inhibits LTB4-induced adhesion of PMNs with an IC50 value of 0.3 nM.

MR-39 is a FPR2 agonist (EC50 = 3.9 μM). MR-39 activates FPR2 to promote neuroinflammation resolution (downregulates IL-1β and TNF-α, modulates NF-κB), upregulates synaptic proteins (synaptic proteins) and improves dendritic spine morphology. MR-39 inhibits MAPK/ERK and AKT phosphorylation in glioblastoma, induces S-phase arrest, and suppresses migration, angiogenesis, and hypoxic adaptation. MR-39 reduces Aβ plaque burden via inhibiting MyD88/NF-κB and NLRP3 inflammasome. MR-39 can be used for research on autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer's disease, and glioblastoma [4].
