Description

OAT-IN-2 is an ornithine aminotransferase (hOAT) inhibitor. OAT-IN-2 is used in the research of hepatocellular carcinoma^[1].

In Vitro

OAT-IN-2 (Compound 5) is a time-dependent inhibitor of hOAT with a k_inact/K_I of 0.219 mM^-1 min^-1^[1].
OAT-IN-2 (2-18 equiv; 72 h) irreversibly inhibits hOAT, as no enzymatic activity was recovered after 72 h of dialysis^[1].
OAT-IN-2 forms a noncovalent, tight-binding adduct with hOAT^[1].
