Sulfo-Cy5 amine hydrochloride
Based on 1 publication(s) in Google Scholar
Sulfo-Cy5 amine hydrochloride is a Cyanine 5 (Cy5) (HY-D0821) dye derivative with an amine group. Sulfo-Cy5 amine hydrochloride can endow silica nanoparticles with fluorescent properties, be internalized by cancer cells, and exhibit enhanced photostability after being incorporated into silica nanoparticles. Its maximum excitation wavelength is approximately 646 nm, and maximum emission wavelength is approximately 662 nm.

Biological Activity
Sulfo-Cy5 amine hydrochloride is encapsulated in silica nanoparticles synthesized via a modified Stöber method, and its photostability in cell-free systems is significantly higher than that of free sulfo-Cy5 dye[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
