Biological Activity
Squalene Synthase[1]
BMS-187745 (10-2000 μM; 48 h) does not induce significant myotoxicity (changes in protein synthesis, total protein or LDH release) in primary cultures of neonatal rat skeletal muscle cells at concentrations up to 1000 μM, with only mild irreversible cytotoxicity observed at the highest tested concentration of 2000 μM[1].
BMS-187745 (0.1-100 μM) potently inhibits de novo cholesterol synthesis in primary cultures of neonatal rat skeletal muscle cells, with an IC50 of 6.9 μM[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
