Pleioside A
Pleioside A is a flavonoid glycoside with immunomodulatory activity that is found in the leaves of Pleioblastus amarus. Pleioside A exerts differential regulatory effects on adaptive immune lymphocyte proliferation by inhibiting mouse T cell proliferation and promoting B lymphocyte proliferation. Pleioside A can be used for research on adaptive immunity and immunomodulation.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
Pleioside A (compound 1) (40 μM; 48 h) inhibits ConA-induced mouse T cell proliferation[1].
Pleioside A (400 nM-40 μM; 48 h) significantly stimulates LPS (HY-D1056)-induced proliferation of mouse B lymphocytes, with a strong stimulatory effect observed at 40 μM[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Result:Inhibited ConA-induced T cell proliferation in a concentration-dependent manner.
At 400 nM, 3H-TdR incorporation was 100.68 × 103 cpm.
At 4 μM, 3H-TdR incorporation decreased to 97.13 × 103 cpm.
At 40 μM, 3H-TdR incorporation decreased further to 90.18 × 103 cpm, representing a marked inhibition compared to the ConA positive control value of 107.24 × 103 cpm.\nStimulated LPS-induced B cell proliferation in a concentration-dependent manner.
At 400 nM, 3H-TdR incorporation was 30.97 × 103 cpm.
At 4 μM, 3H-TdR incorporation increased to 34.35 × 103 cpm.
At 40 μM, 3H-TdR incorporation rose further to 40.87 × 103 cpm, representing a marked stimulation compared to the LPS positive control value of 28.91 × 103 cpm.
