13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol
13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol is a metabolite of long-chain vitamin E. 13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol can induces cells apoptosis and minor reduction in mitochondrial membrane potential. 13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol can be used for the research of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Actividad biológica
13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol (Compound δ-13′-OH) (24 h) exhibits weak antiproliferative activity in HepG2 cells, with an EC50 >50 μM[1].
13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol (20 μM; 6 h) induces significant apoptotic cell death in HepG2 cells, inducing cleavage of caspase-3, caspase-7, caspase-9, and PARP-1[1].
13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol (10 μM; 6 h) does not significantly induce intracellular or intramitochondrial ROS formation in HepG2 cells[1].
13′-Hydroxy-δ-tocopherol (20 μM; 1 h) significantly reduces mitochondrial membrane potential by 20% in HepG2 cells when incubated at 20 μM for 1 h[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
