Description

14-Deoxy-12-methoxyandrographolide, an ent-labdane-type diterpenoid found in the aerial parts of Andrographis paniculata, is a cell differentiation inducer. 14-Deoxy-12-methoxyandrographolide induces differentiation of myeloid leukemia cells via increased phagocytosis of polystyrene latex particles. 14-Deoxy-12-methoxyandrographolide can be used for the research of myeloid leukemia[1].

In Vitro

14Deoxy-12-methoxyandrographolide (Compound 7) (5-50 μM; 48 h) moderately induces differentiation of mouse myeloid leukemia (M1) cells, as measured by phagocytosis of polystyrene latex particles[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
