In Vitro

2-Hexylglutaconic acid (Compound 1) shows no significant cytotoxic activity against mouse lymphoma L5178Y cells, with an IC50 >10 μg/mL[1].
2-Hexylglutaconic acid shows no significant antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25922, Streptococcus pneumoniae ATCC 49619, or Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, even at a concentration of 64 mg/mL[1].
