3-Deacetyl-1,6-diacetylsendanal (1×10^-6-1×10^-4 M; 48 h) inhibits viability of HL60 leukemia cells with an IC₅₀ of 3.6±1.0 μM and AZ521 stomach cancer cells with an IC₅₀ of 22.0±1.5 μM after 48 h of treatment, and does not reduce viability of A549 lung or SK-BR-3 breast cancer cells at concentrations up to 100 μM^[1].
