Description

AcrB-IN-5 (compound 8) inhibits AcrB and blocks the efflux pump in a dose-dependent manner[1].

In Vitro

AcrB-IN-5 (0-200 μM, 30 min) inhibits the efflux pump activity of AcrB, increases the H33342 accumulation by 2-fold (50 μM) and levofloxacin antibacterial activity by 4-fold (200 μM)[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
