ADC Control Human IgG1-vcMMAE (DAR4, solution)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
ADC Control Human IgG1-vcMMAE (DAR4, solution) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that is an isotype control of ADC human IgG1-vcMMAE and can inhibit tubulin polymerization. The antibody portion is Human IgG1 kappa, Isotype Control (HY-P99001), and the drug-linker conjugate for ADC is vcMMAE (HY-15575).

Activité biologique
Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) covalently link a highly efficient small molecule toxin to an antibody through a suitable linker. For therapeutic antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) in cancer treatment, the antibody targets a specific antigen on the surface of tumor cells with high binding affinity, and then the intact ADC is internalized by the tumor cells along with the antigen and digested in lysosomes to release the antitumor toxin [1].
VcMMAE (MMAE) is efficiently released from SGN-35 within CD30+ cancer cells and, due to its membrane permeability, is able to exert cytotoxic activity on bystander cells[2].
MMAE sensitizes colorectal and pancreatic cancer cells to IR in a time- and dose-dependent manner associated with mitotic arrest. Radiosensitization is manifested as decreased clonogenic survival and increased DNA double-strand breaks in irradiated cells[3].
