Antibacterial agent 88 (Compound 5h) is a potent antibacterial agent with MIC values of both ≤0.0156 μg/mL against MRSA, MRSE and S. aureus. Antibacterial agent 88 also inhibits B. subtilis with an MIC of 4 μg/mL[1].

In Vivo

Antibacterial agent 88 (Compound 5h) exhibits potent in vivo antibacterial effects to significantly improve the survival rate of mice (ED50 = 16.14 mg/kg)[1].
